October Giveaway: Neil Gaiman, Ransom Riggs and Katherine Howe

There’s something rather mystical about October, wouldn’t you say? It’s a month with an exceptionally particular and extraordinarily palpable soul. Oh, and there’s Halloween.

As to celebrate what is one of our favourite months, we are giving away not one, not two, but three books that somehow remind us of this time of the year.

So if you would like to take home a copy of Neil Gaiman’s Coraline, Ransom Riggs’s Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children and Katherine Howe’s The Physick Book of Deliverance Dane, leave us a comment with a title that you too associate with this season. You have until the 30th to participate.

Best of luck to you all!

P.S. The winner will be announced on the 31st.

  1. Nice giveway ! I’ve really, really been wanting to read Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children.

I’m not a big fan of Halloween, but I’m reading Vassa in The Night by Sarah Porter and I’ll forever associate it with this time of the year (It’s a great book btw, based on a Russian fairytale. I recommend it).

  2. My favourite thing to do around this time of the year is to revisit my favourite autumn-ish/Halloween-themed books and this time I’m re-reading Dracula by Bram Stoker. Aah, it’s still as good as it was when I first read it! :’)

  3. I guess that would be Gone With the Wind, I certainly associate it with late autumn, when it had just gotten cold and maybe the air is crisp and wow it’s been years since I even thought about reading that. Who would have thought:)
    Thanks for the giveaway guys!
